We are all loving this chair! We bought it for my two year old, who had been in a high-chair/booster seat on a dining room chair since infancy. Once I took the tray off the seat as he got older and put him at the table, I discovered he was at risk of easily kicking off the table to tip over. So we ordered this, and we are really happy with it. There is no chance of him tipping himself over with this! The assembly was pretty easy -- my husband and 4 year old did it in about half an hour or so. The wood seems good and durable (and actually blends with our dining room furniture). We've been using it for about 3 months now and it still looks really clean. I think this is actually the easiest to clean seat we've owned (for comparison's sake, we've also used the Fisher Price Space Saver chair, the Peg Perego Rialto, and an OXO Tot booster seat). The straps are easy to adjust and buckle but not removable for cleaning. This definitely juts out a bit but so far I've only stubbed my toe on it once. My 2 year old can easily climb up into the seat and out of it. The foot-rest is great -- I think it really grounds kids to have their feet resting on something. My toddler really enjoys sitting here to do art projects, play doh, etc as well as eating and I'm glad the chair should last a long time. I really obsessed for a long time about whether to get this or a Tripp Trapp, but I think that in terms of buying a chair for a toddler (and not needing the baby accessories), this was really the way to go and I have no regrets.
