We've had this chair less than 6 months. My husband and I both use it. Today I sat down in it and this happened.... I weigh 300 lbs and my husband 250 lbs. Because most chairs say they max out at a weight of 250 or 275 lbs, we went out of our way to find a chair that would accommodate us both. This chair claims to support up too 400 lbs. It does not. About a week ago I heard a loud crack. But I couldn't find the source so I moved on. Tonight I went to go sit in the chair and two of the feet supports snapped. I'm honestly lucky I didn't fall over with the chair. We wanted to love this chair. We thought it met both our needs for an office chair we both use. I now just feel disappointed. It's too late to return it. I am not sure what we can do from here other than just buy a different chair. Prior to this I would have said my husband loves this chair and I was on the hot side of luke warm about it. It's not my ergonomic style per se, I don't like the headrest. But my husband does. I like that the arms flip up so I never felt squeezed when sitting in it. And that's why I am giving it a 2 instead of a 1. There are things we genuinely liked about the chair, but overall, I don't feel safe about the chair.I think my desk is slighter higher than standard height. 20 1/2”” inches is the max height from wheel to top of seat which is too short for me and I’m 5’3”. Works great for my husband though, so I’m still on the hunt for a home office chair.I pretty much put this chair together twice. The instructions are super inaccurate and confusing. My biggest take away is that the long screws go on the seat bottom. They have all the screws labeled incorrectly and if you use the long screws where they tell you to in the instructions, you will be taking it all apart. Hence the second assembly. Once I got it put together it is a great chair. Wide seat and very comfortable. Back mesh is breathable. Seems like a solid construction.The chair for some reason when reclining moves the lever and drops the chair down. Not happy.It isn’t very comfortable. I bought this for work with my own $ . And it didn’t function .I work 10 hour days WFH and it was a journey to find a comfy chair that supports and doesn’t feel like I’m sitting on concrete and this was it! I definitely recommend this chair!the back support is barely noticeable and the chair if you lean back it starts to go down and the left arm broke after a month and 6 days it is not worth paying the 190 at the most I pay 50
