Do you have a toddler who is too big for a high chair and booster seats are too low? This is the perfect chair. We left off the front bar(not recommended by the manufacturer) and my grandson climbs in and out by himself without tipping over the chair. It pushes right up to the table and he is at the perfect height.These are good, sturdy high chairs. They work for kids from 6 months to 2-1/2 years. They allow the child to pull-up to the table. If you have more than one, they can be stacked, saving space. They require assembly but it's not hard.I bought two of these chairs for my Tavern with great expectations. The first night, with normal usage, the back horizontal brace broke where it was attached to the frame. The support was held together with what appeared to be a long staple??? The wood split where the staple was holding the brace to the frame.The wood is also akin to soft pine, not a hardwood. You would think that a highchair that holds small children wood be built better with more consideration for the small tenants that will be occupying it??? The other chair is still on the floor so maybe I got the lemon but I am wary. I would respectfully suggest that you get what you pay for so beware ...Needed the High Chair by a certain date they put a special rush on my ordered. Received it when they said it would be here.
