Purchased this chair 2 years ago. August 2020.About 6 months ago the chair will no longer stay locked in the raised position. It keeps lowering on its own regardless of us setting the lever on the side to lock. I contacted the seller a couple months ago and received no response to my inquiry.Same as aboveAssembly was actually quite easy, especially the second one (when I knew what I was doing). I had the two of them put together in under 45 minutes.The seat is firm, which is GREAT for my back. The back is also shaped perfectly for me, and gives me great lumbar support. The pillow...err...headrest is great as well. I'm 5'8" tall, so anyone from about 5'6" to 6'2" should find it way too easy to fall asleep, if they lean back and close their eyes. The mesh back means no more sweaty shirts, after long sessions on the computer. The mesh on this chair feels very durable and has just the right amount of flex, so it's very comfortable to lean back against.Both my teenagers use additional separate lumbar supports, however, so you'll need to find what works best for you. That being said, they are VERY happy with their chairs. I tried to trade with either of them, for a VERY comfortable, expensive (and HIGHLY rated) gaming chair I have. Neither one of them would take me up on the offer. Go figure.This is a great chair. Considering the price, it's amazing. I have yet to see how sturdy my two chairs are, and how they'll last over the long term. But, it's been several weeks and they're both still like new, so I'm quite optimistic.We’ve been working from home for almost a full year now so to say I put off office chairs for a while is an understatement. There’s 2 of us at home so I was looking for a chairs that would suit us both (so they can match), would be ergonomic, and aesthetically pleasing to us both. I also wanted them this caramel brown fake leather color.Great price so I went for it!! One of the chairs arrived with a damaged headrest, I quickly contacted the seller and they immediately replied that they would be happy to ship out any replacement parts that we needed. 5 stars on customer service!!!My husband is 6’1 and the headrest fits for him perfectly. The seat base is also wide enough to be comfortable for us both. I’m 5’3 and also sit comfortably! The chairs have had no issue with going up or down and they also recline and rock which is a great feature to be able to stretch and change positions. Also, you can lock the seat in the upright position to prevent it from leaning/rocking back. Which is a nice added touch.I’ve had 2 lumbar spine disectomey’s and because I’m on the shorter spine I do like to add a pillow behind my back but I think this is personal preference. I’m hopeful these chairs will withstand the test of time with every day use but we shall see!I will update with any changes.I figured I would get a new chair now that I am going to law school from home during the coronavirus pandemic. When I saw this chair for the price, I bought it right away! I have been a little disappointed, but also it is pretty cheap to pay for an office chair, I guess. I can't sit in it for very long (and I am a pretty young guy) because the padding on the seat isn't very comfortable, and it provides very little arch support (literally just the netting). Tonight I decided to come and share my review because I am upset that the headrest just broke all of a sudden. I was just leaning my head back and it just popped off. I reattached it with superglue, but now it's going to be even more uncomfortable. The only reason I didn't give it one star is that you get what you pay for, I guess.UPDATE: The Seller was very communicative with me about the problem by sending me a replacement back and head rest. They are very nice and were willing to help me out, and I appreciate that.I bought this chair because I needed a new one since working from home and didn't want to spend a bunch since I will return to work soon and won't need to use this chair very often. This chair stood out because the price was low and it has a cool looking appearance. I never expected this chair to be great at the ~$80 price and it seems to deliver exactly how much it costs which is okay, not bad, not great, just okay.The good:Chair looks goodMesh back is great for breathabilityCosts $80The not so good:Lower cushion for your bum is quite firm, not very comfortableMesh back while having some lumbar support could use a little moreArm rests don't have any cushions (also a pro because they are slim)Head rest could be a little higher but I'm also 6'2" so I can't fully blame them hereLast but not least, the tolerances for the assembly screw locations are way off because even though they have slots to allow for some slop I still had to kind of bend the chair and then slowly tighten all of the screws at the same time in order for it to go together. Not that big of a deal because you just have to do it once, but as a mechanical engineer it is very clear how poorly this chair is designed or manufactured.The chair is incredible for the price. Looks good, and feels good. Why is this not a 5-star rating? Because of two issues:1. The smell of the PU leather is strong. If you can put it in a room and air it out with windows open or use a spray.2. Adding screws to the base of the seat to secure it to the arms is a beast. if you don't get it on correctly all the screws will not go in and the seat will be crooked and give you back pains. You solve this by Screwing in the screws closest to the back of the seat first (3/4 of the way) and then screw all the others halfway. That was the trick to get all the screws in and the chair level.If you do these two steps then you'll definitely rate it 5 stars.Due to its thin mesh material on the back you can't really lean your back against it. But strangely it does have good hip support
