Timeless grey wood high chair with a sleek, modern design
We like it, it reclines and u can use for infant and toddler its great. I recommend this item. Lil hard to put together But its worth it.I love that this high chair has a tray that swings open easily with just one hand instead of having a lift off tray that u need 2 hands to release & then you struggle to find a place to set it down so u can actually pick up your baby. I can use one hand to swing the tray to the side while holding my daughter & then I can close it to keep her in the chair safely & not have to pick up the tray again to get her secured.Honestly I’m pretty sure that feature alone pretty much makes this high chair best in class. I looked at a ton of them & I couldn’t find any others with this design which is pretty crazy because it seems like it should be obvious that if you are using a high chair you are holding a baby & unless u are an octopus you need to be able to access the seat using one hand & then also you can’t leave the baby sitting in the high chair without the tray installed so I honestly believe the dude who came up with the 2 handed release lift off tray design must be a baby-hater. Thanks for your intuitive design jerk face. We hate u a lot.The additional pullout storage tray allows me to place food dishes out of reach of the baby which is very helpful as well unless you are the kind of mom who loves to listen to her baby scream hangrily after he or she knocks their freshly mixed bowl of mushy cereal off the tray just as you sit down to feed them the very First bite. I’m not that kind of mom so I keep the bowl as far from my kid as possible & no other high chair has an extra tray quite as convenient as this one does.My one complaint is that the chair has a really wide base when it is open & takes up a ton of room but I think the other features outweigh this issue for me. I know they had safety & stability in mind but space is at a premium when your house is under hostile takeover by your toddler & all their toys. You can’t tuck this highchair next to your table without it sticking out & also the wide legs make it hard for mom to sit close & feed the baby which after all is why the kid is in the chair in the first place. The wide base makes the chair super stable when it’s in the open position for feeding however when you fold the chair to store, it doesn’t stand on its own in the folded position & you have to lean against a wall which of course means it may slip & crash to the ground on its own let alone when your toddler tries to “pull up” when they are hungry. To be safe u need to find closet space to store it away [as if free closet space is even a thing these days] or you would need to find a creative way to hang it on the wall with some heavy duty hardware that would probablg leave a huge hole in the drywall when highchair days are over. [i can’t wait for that day!]So I love/hate this high chair a whole lot. Hope this honest review helps you decide between this & the thousand other models you will inevitably research before making a purchase! So as a mom of 4. Two teens. One toddler and a baby. I already had my toddlers older high chair. Yet it was getting kind of beat up. So I ordered this one. I didn’t even read the instructions. To assemble it. Lol since I was so in a hurry to build it and use it. My baby loves it. She’s 30 pounds not even one yet. So hey it’s sturdy! It’s easy to put together just looking at the box. If you’ve had kids it’s actually easy. I love how I can pull it fromThe kitchen to the living room. You name it.My biggest issue is the tray tilt. It makes it to where all of the food rolls towards her and it falls in her lap or to the sides of the seat. The little pull out tray is a good idea, but if you aren’t careful you can catch their little toes in it. My 11 month old constantly pushes it out with her feet. A lock would be nice. Overall it does get the job done and the seat cover is easy to clean.Overall, we really like this high chair but it could use some improvements. We love...-the swing-out tray; there is no need to remove the tray and have to find a place to set it down before you can take baby out.-the “cover” tray; it is much easier to remove/clean than the main tray. I have heard from a friend of mine that has this with an older child that they tend to kick that top tray off so they don’t use it anymore (something to keep in mind).-the fabric is SOOOO easy to remove to wash.-the fact that this can double as 2 high chairs.-that it is easy to fold.Improvements Needed:-the whole high chair doesn’t sit level when it is opened. Our baby is still quite little so we are feeding him...if we set the jar of food down on the tray, it always slides toward him.-the swing-out tray connector is stiff to push together and difficult to unlatch. This gets easier over time, but you always have to hold baby’s arms away because you have to force the connector together and you don’t want it to pinch baby.-as mentioned above, the top tray just sits loose on the main tray and can be knocked off easily. I wish there was a latch or something because I LOVE the convenience of washing just the top section and not the entire tray...but if (in the future) baby just kicks it off, there is no point of using it.Overall, we’re happy with it...but future generations of this model could definitely use improving.Great idea to have a 4in1, and although there’s a lot of pieces to construct it it went together ok but some of the joints didn’t quite fit correctly which made it wobbly, when shut together to stand when not used it wouldn’t stand up at all ...kept falling over - had to return it which was such a shame as other than that really liked it.For the price this is extremely poorly made. Looks cheap. Doesn’t stand when folded. Wobbles when baby is in there. Not worth the money. Sent mine back. The legs are so thin they look too weak. WOULDN’T RECOMMEND. The star is only for easy assembleNot comfortable at all, pictures looked like the seating is padded but its not, legs are really big and take up a lot of space in the house. Returned it back and purchased a Joie highchair which I'm really happy with. Would not reccomend!Lovely comfortable easy to make easy to move about only fault I have it it doesn’t lie back enough but everything else greatGood sturdy product. Very easy to fold and store away. Straight forward to assemble. Love the pivot try, so easy to work with one hand while holding a crying baby.
