I feel like maybe a lot of other people who call the footprint of this chair huge, maybe don’t have experience with full size high chairs. High chairs have to have a wide base because they’re high. It’s a safety issue. I don’t find this to be any wider than any other full size high chair. I actually find it to be more streamlined. We have a munchkin brand high too and the legs make angles straight from the chair and we trip over them constantly. This is also a bit of a trip hazard but the feet are flatter and easier to avoid. I love the height adjustment. Being able to put the baby at a standard table lever just feels closer and more inclusive than having their tray above the table like other high chairs. This one is easy to clean and I appreciate that the pad doesn’t have seams for food to sink into. It seems really thoughtful made. I wish I would have had this chair when my son was still small enough for a lounger. I would have used it all the time and felt more secure than the soft loungers I used. A lot of the more streamlined high chairs drop the back which means no support if you’re child falls asleep while eating. This chair retains a high enough back to support a sleepy baby or toddler. I love the reclining option. Even the internet proves how often kids fall asleep while eating. I like that we can recline the chair and finish our meal. I do find the foot rest a bit odd. If the height of the seat moves up and down, then the foot rest should too but it doesn’t. So when the chair is all the way up, your child doesn’t have left support. Not a huge issue but notable. Overall I really like this high chair.
