I though I loved this chair when I saw it online. I was actually even more impressed with it when it came in. This thing is so unique and beautiful. I thought the seat was made of wood with leather stretched over the top, nope. The seat and back are leather stretched over the iron framing and then stitched together. This allows a bit of give to the seat and back. It is so comfortable. I would definitely buy this again. I like the rubber feet on the bottom that also provide a little comfort and protect your floors. This shipped in a thick box with unbelievably difficult to cut through packing tape. All parts were wrapped and heavily protected. Well done!We ordered 2 chair height in sienna brown and while one arrived w/a few scratches on the seat, the other was perfect except the rubber cups are shot & the metal legs come through! We will search for cane tips as a previous reader suggested for hardwood floors.I LOVE these stoools! I have been looking at them for months but couldn't bring myself to pay that much for counter stools. Amazon reduced the price so I odered two. They arrived very well packed and are just perfect. Very unique and rich looking! These stools are well made and quite comfortable. Some of the reviews I read complained that the back of the stools did not have the same design as the front which concerned me but I feel that the backs look great. These stools are very sturdy and will last for years! I got the sienna brown which are a very rich colored brown. I could not be happier! If you are undecided about them I highly recomend that you buy them.I still love the look and comfort of these chairs. I get lots of compliments on them . the rubber stoppers on the feet are wearing through,which leaves metal on my travertine floor. I did not expect to have to replace the rubber feet in less than 6 months on such an expensive stool. I really don't know where to look. That was disappointing.I ordered two of these after seeing them in a WSJ article. In the pics, the gray looks much more burnished and the frame appears to be more of a burnished finish also. When they arrived, besides missing the rubber feet on most of the legs and the packaging being completely beat up, they were completely all gray....a boring, monotonous gray, leather and frame. Rather than appearing rustic, they appear bland with no personality. I will keep them, but should have ordered a different color to get the rustic look I wanted. they do appear well made, however.We bought 2 barstools 6 years ago. They still look great! The leather is gorgeous and the black metal frame looks like the day we bought them. Needed counter stools, so the Rocket stool was the logical choice!OMG!! We love these stools!! We got 6 bar height, and they are perfect! They are heavy, but not so heavy that they are hard to move! The leather is great quality and very comfortable to sit on! We ordered the sienna brown, and it’s a nice rich color!these chairs are so comfortable. The only issue was the rubber legs were pushed through, so I bought rubber cane tips which are much thicker and you get 4 to a box. I replaced all of them since I have hardwood floors and works great. The Charis are very comfortable.
