After looking at various highchairs online and on stores we settled with Inglesina for its sleek design and compact form factor once folded.Upon ordering i was contacted by Inglesina to let me know that they found a defect on the item that was about to get shipped out. They were asking if i was ok to wait 2-3 weeks for the item. Since my son is soon to start solids at 6 months, i figured i have enough time to wait for the high chair to arrive. To my pleasant surprise the highchair arrived a week later! Awesome service Inglesina, very proactive!Product-wise, we love it. The item came in 3 separate items within the sturdy packaging:1. High chair folded down2. Legs: 2 flat surface and 2 with wheels3. TrayThe installation is fairly easy. If you look at the installation manual the pieces are even packed separately - the chair will come in 2 or 3 pieces. I'm not sure if this the manual is from the previous version as the instructions for installing the legs were incorrect (the diagram lettering does not match what's on the actual part that arrived) and is also not matching the instructions you can download from the website. You can pretty much figure it out by looking at the website pictures and videos on YouTube which took an extra 20 mins. An extra caution though, while installing the highchair (legs not yet installed) I have accidentally dragged the chair the metal legs scratched my floor.I love how easy it is to put my son in the highchair. It's 3 level recline makes it easy for me to feed solids and bottle. The 5-point harness too supports my son when I recline the the seat, some may feel this is a bit too much but I found this to be easy. The legs are made of steel, and the rest of the parts are of plastic. I found the fabric of the seat easy to wipe down. I like the fact that I can put the tray in the back when I don't need it. This highchair makes it multi-functional for me as I can take my son next too me while I am pumping as he is outgrowing his rocker chair and he is at that stage where he wants to sit upright.Overall, for the price/value of this product I found this perfect for what I am looking for. Highly recommended!I'll come back and update once we've used it more, but I have to say my first impression is fantastic. I also owned the Inglesina Trip and often wish I hadn't sold it. Inglesina have me sold. The chic and unique Italian style and function of their products with decent prices make them a brand I keep coming back to.This high chair seems to be no exception. Out of the box I just had to slide the feet on. They click right on. The unfolding is pretty simple. Folding it takes me about 30 second and I'm getting better. It is a two to three part mechanism. The chair itself is sturdy and extremely comfortable looking. We had a two year old wooden grows with the child high chair that was breaking and I replaced with this. My tall and sturdy two year old fits this chair well, though she is a bit taller than the headrest when fully reclined. She loves the seat and large tray and wanted to nap in her new high chair when I showed her the reclining function. Dad thinks the chair is "the Mercedes of high chairs, huh?"It folds up pretty flat and is light enough for me to move with ease at 5' tall. The highest heat feature is quite tall, which I like, leaving babies and toddlers closer to eye level when you are standing. The lowest feature looks like it should accommodate her in about six months to a year for sitting at our table. Height is easy to adjust.I am happy with the padded leatherette seat and the fact that it is removable was what ultimately lead me to purchase the Inglesina over cheaper models. No bad crevices. Cleaning has been easy. The removable tray liner is another plus.I am very pleased so far and will come back with updates on how it's holding up for daily use!Super easy to assemble and fold for storage, would be great for car travel too. Got one for my son/daughter in law and one to keep at my place too when grandchildren visit. Very sturdy and easy to keep clean. Quit looking - buy it!Love my Gusto!!!! Purchased cream color, and was a little concerned about stains, but we’ve had it for 2 years now and they’ve held up very well. No pasta sauce stains, no tears, and it’s incredibly easy to clean. We’ve been so impressed that we purchased one for our second child as well.Very comfortable and looks amazing, my son loves it.Easy to clean !It takes a couple of tricks to fold. Love the color... it was exactly what I was looking for. I had to return though since the wheels are atrocious. They are meant to let you slide the chair around, but I find it very awkward to pick up to back two legs and drag is around since it's not lightweight, especially with baby seated in it. It can't move over carpet either, which I need it to function between the two surfaces. I must be super old school because I prefer 3 point harness option rather than a mandatory 5 point harness with the messiest activity I can imagine.I entrusted my husband to choose a highchair this time around... This thing is clunky, annoying, and the straps are a pain. For one, the shoulder pads are sewn in place so unless your baby's shoulders hit exactly that spot (ours don't) then there is no padding at all. That means the straps rub his neck area when he moves around. Secondly, I can't easily remove the straps like in other chairs to throw them in the washing machine. (The sewn-on shoulder pads of vinyl material doesn't make that a possibility either). The eating tray is VERY heavy and almost impossible to attach correctly when our animated baby is seated. I don't even bother to use it.Now, let me be clear, we have a high demand feeder on all fronts- tongue-tie, oral dysfunction and all! The pros for us is that it is very sturdy and the bottom ledge can be oriented horizontally to support his legs which gives him a sense of comfort and security. That's about it. I expect him to outgrow that feature soon. (He's ten months old).If our breakfast nook were any smaller, we'd have a hard time placing this thing. I wouldn't recommend for smaller eating areas.Overall this is a great highchair. After using it for about a month, I've noticed a couple flaws. The wheels suck. Would have been helpful to have better wheels that could lock. Because of the 'sleek' design, food goes EVERYWHERE! Especially beside the seat and the arm where it is hard to clean, that's where most of the food tends to drop and there are little cracks in there that is really hard to get at. The tray could have been designed better. I dislike that the center piece is attached to the tray instead of the actual chair and the tray, once on the highchair does not feel sturdy. Overall the seat looks nice and it is functional, just hope it will last the length of the period we need to for!It would be perfect if it had proper wheels on all 4 legs that you could use to easily move the chair around the house as you need. Another issue with the chair is that when it’s moved to the lower positions, it doesn’t lock, so If you grab it anywhere except the joints it pulls up. Otherwise, the chair folds very easily, it’s light, doesn’t look tacky, easy to clean and it fits really well under my regular dining table as well as bar height kitchen island. All in all, compared to what else is in the market, we found this to be the best compromise and well worth the money.Such a great high chair. Super functional and east to clean. Easy to use. Neatly tucks away saving space. You cant go wrong!Loved it so much ordering another cover for itExcelente calidad!!!!
