I had a similar gaming chair for work and got this one for my wife when she works from home. I actually traded her my chair for this one. Pros: fully reclines 180 degrees, easily recline handle, good faux leather material, great back support; and the massager is great! Also it’s great the massager has an on/off switch so you don’t have to unplug it to turn off. Cons: this chair had slightly more pieces than my other gaming chair so it took a bit longer to assemble; the foot rest doesn’t come out as far as my other chair, and I wish the height extended more vertically. None of the cons were enough to make me dissatisfied. Protip: I attached the massager to a portable usb battery so it didn’t have to be plugged into the wall or a computer charger, and stuck the battery inside the massage cover so it isn’t noticeable.I bought this chair in 2018 and it has held up for the most part. The height adjustment went out, so now it's permanently down - which is fine for me since I'm short (5'1"). To be honest I have never actually used the massaging backrest, so I can't speak to that aspect, but the lumbar pillow is perfectly sized IMO. I removed the headrest/neck pillow because I wasn't able to get it into a good place for me to use it comfortably. The screws come loose for the backrest and have to be re-tightened every 6 months or so. The seat cushion has pretty much flattened out and now I sit on a pillow for extended gaming sessions. The worst part of this chair is the armrests, though. They are minimally adjustable for width when assembling (slots on the bar underneath where you screw it into the seat, but they can't go in to max because the base assembly is in the way). With my petite frame, I can't comfortably use these armrests. My arms need to be angled so far out that I can't actually type on my keyboard when I'm using the armrests in their neutral position. I have to turn them outward to be able to use PART of the armrest as well as be able to actually use my keyboard and mouse. This impacts my elbows and puts pressure on my joints where it wouldn't be if I could actually place my forearms on the armrest (Attached pictures) This chair is NOT designed for short people and would caution against it for anyone that isn't wider set in the shoulder area. The footrest is pretty baller though, and I use that a lot combined with the far recline. You can actually nap in this chair (and I have!). Overall, it's a good budget option for what it is, but I wouldn't expect it to maintain quality over 4 years or so.very comfortable and resistant***UPDATE: Seller was super nice and contacted me right away to resolve my issues with the two chairs. They are sending replacement parts as soon as they can. Review was updated to five stars***My boyfriend and I recently moved in together and were looking at trying to set up a gaming nook (we have matching headphones, desks, headphone stands, and now chairs - I know, a bit nerdy and sappy, but I promise it's super cute).Anyways, previously before buying these chairs we were trying to find something that would work for both of us. I needed a leg rest (I have a messed up knee that needs to be elevated after being at work for 8-12 hours), my boyfriend wanted a chair that had adjustable arms, and we both wanted something that would look sleek and modern. These chairs check all those boxes (and quite frankly, a lot more). I love that it has a back massage feature and the pillows fall just in the right places to adequately support your body/provide good posture (I've literally reclined my chair and ended up falling asleep it in before - it's that comfy) . We've had our chairs for a couple of weeks now, and besides the fact that they both broke (I'll get to that in a second), these would be amazing. When the boxes first came in, both had a fairly large hole in the exact same spot - large enough that if the hardware hadn't of been bagged as well as it was, they would have fallen out. the feet to the chairs were both sticking out of the hole and had scratched on them (something that was slightly annoying - but not necessarily the sellers fault (although I will suggest they pad the feet/legs of the chair better for future purchases in order to prevent this happening to other customers)).Anyways, upon unboxing the chairs, all pieces were there and the instructions were relatively straight forward (I would guess approx 15 minutes or less to get one fully put together). While my boyfriend was setting up his chair though, he noticed that the right arm was broken (it's a cosmetic issue and he found the broken piece stuck inside the box - the arm still works, but it's super frustrating to buy an item and have it break before you can even use it). I felt bad for him, but I figured we could probably super glue the piece back on without any issues. So I finish getting my chair put together, sit it in, go to adjust the arms, and the left arm button (to adjust said arm) snaps off (no abnormal pressure or anything like that - and now my chair's arm is stuck in the highest position) -.-I will say I find it funny that my boyfriend and I each have a messed up arm on opposite sides of our chairs - but I'm also super bummed out that they broke/were broken before we even had a chance to enjoy them :(REMAXE customer service has been really good about getting in touch with me once I sent my initial email of concern. I will keep everyone updated with what happens.
