This is a great portable chair for camping or events. It is far more comfortable compared to the smaller chairs (Chair One and clones of it), although you'll have to assess the weight different for your purposes (it's not bad, really). It is also a bit higher and (for some reason) easier to get in/out vs. the smaller chairs, even though the difference doesn't look significant. I probably wouldn't carry it backpacking due to the weight and size vs. utility, but it is now in my car all the time for all other uses, and this totally replaces much heavier folding chairs. I'm planning to get another one at some point.One note -- all of these chairs with four poll feet are awkward in sand or very loose soil. You might want to consider some kind of base for it if you plan to use it on a beach.I love Helinox chairs! They are ultra light making them very easy to carry. They come with their own zipper mesh bag which makes it easy to store and clean out. Setting them up only takes a few minutes. I ultimately bought this specific chair because I wanted the Color-Block chair model with Red, Blue, Black, and Brown trim/velcro! It is stunning. I get so many compliments on the colors and design.My only frustration is that I accidentally purchased their Chair Two model when I really meant to purchase the Sunset Chair Model. This was my mistake because the Scale-to-Size Infographic used for both Helinox Amazon listings looked very similar to one another (despite the measurements being listed). I assumed I had opened the correct product listing and used the infographic as reference not realizing the measurements were wrong ( I bought it the second time I searched for the listing).When I went to return the chair and select the Sunset model, the Color-Block model was sold out!! Just my luck.I was convinced by my husband to keep it anyways because the color alone made it stand out from the others.If the Scale-to-Size infographic included BOTH chair models in a side-by-side comparison (with measurements and model names) next to the silhouette of the man, this would help more buyers better distinguish that Helinox offers two very similar looking chair models in the same color ways.Now from a design aspect, if you like to lay your legs close to the ground while you're sitting, then the Chair Two model is great. I wanted the Sunset model so my legs wouldn't be in direct contact with the floor, but again the color I wanted was sold out so I didn't return it. Otherwise, still love the brand! Hoping Helinox changes their infographic for future buyers.This chair is very portable, sturdy and very comfortable.Not quite as easy to put together as I thought since it takes a little muscle to get the chair fabric on to the legs but I’ll take it since the chair is super light and one of the most comfortable camp chairs I’ve ever sat in. Would recommend.I'm a heavy 280lb fat guy in his 40's, and this chair is by far the most comfortable, stable, and trust worthy chair that I've owned so far! The high back is a must for me from now on...I had no idea that it would make this type of camp chair, a million times better than the 'regular' sized ones. Especially the cheap, generic helinox knock offs! If you're fat, and are on the edge about pulling the trigger for this chair, do it! Its worth every penny...Sat in one of these at an outdoor store and immediately put it on the wish list. Last weekend my son and I went for an overnight hike in Ocala National Forest and brought these along. They pack reasonably small and are pretty light. They were perfect for our primitive camping weekend! Very easy to assemble and very comfortable. I'm 5' 11" and around 156 pounds at the moment and I never questioned their ability to support me. Worth every penny.I’ve had my heart set out to buy a camp chair for a while. First camp trip of the season this weekend, and I made sure I had this in hand. Super lightweight and set up takes less than 30 seconds. Loved it so much I just ordered a second one for my partner. Super bummed I already burned a small (pencil thick) hole through the seat, but the rip stop is durable and it doesn’t look like it’s getting any bigger. Note to other buyers: don’t set this too close to a campfire.....Love these chairs! Bought 2 for day hikes. They sit low, so if you have bad knees it may be hard to get up from.Definitely great chairs!Easy to put together & take down. The cloth is strong & seems resilient .Just brilliant - but expensive. We carry them in panniers on our Brompton bikes and they’re excellent qualityIch habe lange mit mir gerungen, so viel Geld für einen Strandstuhl auszugeben. Im letzten Jahr hatte ich bereits einen kleinen Campingstuhl aus der 30 € Klasse mit Stahlrohrgestänge und knapp 4 kg Gewicht, war im eingeklappten Zustand mehr als doppelt so sperrig wie dieser hier und nach wenigen Tagen Benutzung bereits ordentlich eingerissen. Das erste Probesitzen im Helinox Chair Two in der Wohnung begeisterte mich erst nicht so sehr. Nun habe ich ihn heute mal mit auf Tour in die Natur genommen und stelle fest, so übel sitzt man nun doch nicht drauf, es ist halt ein Stuhl mit Kompromissen und nicht mit einer Relaxliege zu vergleichen. Ich bin 173 cm groß bei 85 kg Gewicht, sitze recht formschlüssig darin und die Rückenlehne passt auch gut, wobei ich den ausgestopften und anklettbaren Packsack nicht unbedingt brauche. Der Chair One hat ja eine niedrige Rückenlehne und ich schwankte erst zwischen diesen beiden Modellen, bin aber froh mich für den Two entschieden zu haben.Die Verarbeitung des Gestänges und des Bezuges möchte ich als sehr gut bezeichnen, das aufbauen dauert keine 30 Sekunden, der Hersteller gibt selbstbewußt 5 Jahre Garantie, da kann man kaum was falsch machen.Das Ding paßt locker auch in den kleinsten Rucksack bei 1 kg Gewicht. Einen Nachteil gibt es, der Stuhl weht sehr schell um, was ja auch kein Wunder bei dem Leichtgewicht ist, ich habe ihn gerade an meinem Bike festgebunden. Also alles in allem durchaus empfehlenswert.Den Stuhl habe ich als gemütliche Ergänzung zu unseren beiden schon etwas älteren Chair One gekauft. Positiv: Durch die etwas höhere Lehne ist das Sitzen für den Rücken tatsächlich etwas angenehmer als bei den Chair One. Packmaß und Gewicht sind wie gewohnt klein - kaum ein Unterschied zu den Chair One. Aber: Die Sitzhöhe ist ein paar Zentimeter niedriger als bei unseren Chair One. Für meinen Geschmack (1,84 m) und den meiner Frau (1,76 m) doch recht deutlich spürbar. Und obwohl beide in der gleichen Gewichtsklasse von der Zuladung her laufen, finden wir den Chair Two etwas instabiler - das Rohrgestell scheint etwas schwächer dimensioniert zu sein. Alles in allem: Für die Komfortoptimierung gegenüber dem Chair One fehlen dem Chair Two ein paar Zentimeter Sitzhöhe und bei der Stabilität traue ich dem Chair One irgendwie mehr zu - aber das wird sich mit der Zeit zeigen.Alles in allem: Für kleinere und leichte Leute ist der Chair Two sicher eine sehr gute Wahl, größeren und schwereren rate ich zum - auch etwas billigeren - Chair One.Ich kann die vielen durchweg positiven Rezensionen nur bedingt verstehen. Der Stuhl ist in jedem Fall leicht, stabil, hochwertig verarbeitet und besticht durch ein hervorragendes Packmaß. Von einem Stuhl erwarte ich aber auch, dass er bequem ist und das auch auf Dauer. Damit kann der Helinox leider gar nicht punkten. Die Auflagefläche für die Oberschenkel - also die Sitztiefe - lässt stark zu wünschen übrig. Das haben meine Frau (1,60m) und ich (1,85m) gleich beurteil. Des Weiteren hat man durch die Sitzposition dauerhaft das Gefühl nach vorn zu rutschen. Dieses Gefühl wird noch verstärkt, wenn man sich anlehnen möchte.Bei einem Stuhl dieser Preiskategorie erwarte ich für das Geld einfach mehr. Wir reden hier schließlich davon, dass er das 2-5 fache eines einfacheren Stuhls kostet. Ich schreibe hier auch nicht über einen Vergleich zu einem 10€ Stuhl sondern von einem ebenfalls fertigen 30-40€ Stuhl.Schade, aber hier muss Helinox die Hausaufgaben besser machen. Obwohl sie mir sonst sehr gut gefallen, muss ich den Stuhl wegen mangelnder Bequemlichkeit leider zurück schicken. Andere Hersteller haben vergleichbare Modelle mit ähnlichem Gewicht und Packmaß sowie Verarbeitung und verlangen dafür nicht einmal die Hälfte....Ich habe lange überlegt ob ich 2 oder 3 Sterne gebe. Wer aber so einen hohen Preis nehmen möchte, der sollte mit Perfektion glänzen...deshalb nur 2 Sterne.Trotz des leichten Gewichts ist der Stuhl stabil. Wie ein Wurfzelt lässt sich das Gestänge aufbauen. Noch den Sitzbezug drauf - fertig in ca. 1,5 Min. Zusammenbau etwa das doppelte an Zeit. Leicht zu händeln. Und wenn die Bank dann mal wieder für 5 Personen mit zweien besetzt ist - ich ärgere mich nicht mehr darüber. Hab ja den eigenen Stuhl dabei!Über die Haltbarkeit lässt sich noch nichts sagen.
