My wife ordered this chair when hunting out of blinds for turkey and deer. This is not a run and gun chair, it is sturdy and heavy - I will be leaving it in the blind. There is a lot to like about this chair. I am 6'4" tall and it adjusts high enough that I can sit comfortably without having my knees above my waist. It swivels silently and with no binding or hesitation in rotation.When both my wife and I tried sitting in the chair, it was obvious that there was not much clearance between the seat netting and the upward facing bolts in the swivel plate below. Other reviewers have noted that their seats have been pierced over time by the threaded ends of the bolts.I thought reversing the bolt would solve the problem (you will need two 10mm sockets to remove the bolt and nut). However, when this is done, the bolt is still too long and hits the the top of the bolts on the frame underneath preventing you from swiveling the seat.I ended up going to the hardware store and buying 4 M6x3.0 bolts and installing them with the thread and nut pointing downwards. There is enough clearance to not cause the swivel plate to bind or the top of the bolt to pierce the seat. In reality, the manufacturer should have used a M6x3.0 carriage bolt to prevent this issue.As previously mentioned, the seat is heavy and the manufacturer needs to upgrade the packaging to prevent damage in shipping. My chair arrived with the arms pushed through the side of the cardboard box. Luckily there was no. damage to my chair.If these issues were fixed, I would rate as 5 stars.
