The new Big Six Armchair is complete with two built-in cup holders! Upgraded for deluxe chillin', the Big Six has a tall back, wide seat, and sits an accessible 20" off the ground. Quick and easy to set up with a shock-cord pole set, and packable enough for stashing in your truck, trunk, or travel bag for wherever you're going to need it.
THE LIGHTEST LUXURY CHAIR - Wider, higher, and more comfortable than any other ultralight camping chair in its class, the Big Six Armchair combines luxury and convenience like the world’s never seen before. And this one has two built in cup holders! The exclusive frame design with pre-bent poles delivers an unbeatable strength-to-weight ratio in an ultralight package.
SAY NO TO PLASTIC HUBS - While other chairs rely on flimsy poles and plastic hubs that wobble under your weight, Big Agnes’ patented hub-less frame is made entirely of heavy-duty aircraft aluminum; It packs smaller, weighs less, and provides a much sturdier seat that will support your weight for years of use
REVOLUTION IN COMFORT - Pre-bent poles and a stronger frame allow for a deeper, wider seat than any other ultralight camping chair available; fully shock corded, color-coded architecture makes setup easier than ever; No tools are required, and all pieces pull together in a flash
BACKCOUNTRY TOUGH - Made with ultralight nylon rip stop for extra durability, paired with high-tenacity robic yarn that adds 25% - 30% more strength; Waterproof UTS coating withstands mountain weather; The Big Six Airchair has a trail weight of 3lb 14oz, packed weight of 4lb 2oz, and packed size of 22 x 5 x 6 inches.
WARRANTY INCLUDED - All Big Agnes products are 100% guaranteed against manufacturing or material defect; If one of our products does not perform to your satisfaction, Big Agnes will help you find gear that fits your needs
We didn't like the price so we tried lots of other chairs. We wanted a comfortable high back chair that broke down into a small enough package to store inside of our Class B motor home. We visited REI and test sat in a bunch of their chairs but really didn't find one we loved. Finally we bit the bullet and ordered a pair of Big Agnes 6 chairs without arms. These really checked off nearly all of our boxes. The front is wider than a standard camp chair so they do not bite into the bottoms of our legs. We are full size not petite, not huge. These fit our bodies much better than every other one we tried. I am 72 and although reasonably fit, the higher seat height made it much easier to get up. Lastly the angle of the back was the best we found. The only thing that was missing was arms and although the cost to add arms is ridiculously more money, it was my wife's birthday and we added the arm chair version to our fleet. 2 small complaints about the arms. Their is a fabric loop that the arm slides through. We think two loops would have made the arms more useful. Second the loop could slide down the arm it attaches too. We ended up putting a zip tie on the arms to stop that. They could provide that or simply put a ridge in the arm support to keep that from happening. My favorite compact camping chair - had to get smaller stuff for smaller camper. Absolutely love love love this chair. Easy to set up and take down (once you've done it once or twice). Worth every penny.Very well made, held up well to my 240 pound body, very comfortable. I can’t imagine a better chair with a back and armsGreat chair ,but, expensive !Great quality chair overall, weird at first setting up if your a first time buyer and user of lightweight camp gear, but a great chair, worth the price ? No. But maybe at $150-$175. But not $200.00 and $214 after taxes. The added armwrests you get charged an extra $50 dollars for could be better. If too much weight/pressure is applied to them especially getting up and down from the chair, the straps could snap/tear off, but is overall a great chair and super lightweight. Would recommend if the price dropped a tad bit. Im happy with the chair overall, so 4 stars. Not 5 stars because of the armwrests and the way they strap to the back of the chair. Bad design and a flaw that could be improved for better stability. Can be tricky to assemble. But a nice chair fits the purpose of being lightweight. I think a bit overpriced.Compact, comfortable, and clever design. I removed a star because, like most chairs of this type, it does not provide good lumbar support.Bought this as a graduation gift. It folds up small in it’s own pack. Grads love it
